Jack LaLanne once said, “People don’t die of old age, they die of neglect.” He is a perfect example of the truth of his own persona of how to create and maintain optimal health. He also said that “Exercise is King and nutrition is Queen. Put them together and you’ve got a kingdom.”

It is never too late to make changes for the better when it comes to your health. This is especially true for exercise, and specifically strength training. As a child, I remember watching my mom do exercises to Jack LaLanne’s TV show. At the time, I thought he was an odd individual, when in fact he was a health guru before his time. I look at him with immense admiration and respect. I have been training for over 25 years and I still cannot do a one-arm push-up. He still does them at the age of 93! That is totally Empowering!
