Marketing Strategy for Success; Bridging Goals and Accomplishments

Frequently, I receive emails from clients and colleagues with marketing questions.  More often than not, the questions and comments circle around the concept of bridging goals and accomplishments.

Have you ever found yourself in the situation of trying all types of marketing strategies without success?  You end up feeling like you are running on a Hamster wheel.  You must develop a “Value Added Benefit” to your marketing strategies.  You must develop discipline.

Discipline is the bridge between goals and accomplishments.  Disciplines are inter-related…if you let down your focus on one discipline; it is very likely that the others will suffer.  To not understand this is to be very naive.

Discipline is the foundation upon which all success is built. Lack of discipline inevitably leads to failure.  Failure really only happens when you quit.  Quitting is a byproduct of a lack of disciplineDiscipline has within itself the potential for creating strength and success.  It brings out the ability to be unstoppable…to be a force of focus and drive that cannot be swayed.

The best time to focus on being disciplined is when an idea is newly created.  Energy and emotions are powerful forces that can inspire you to become more disciplined.  This is a very important concept because if you have affirmation without discipline, you are seeing the beginnings of a delusionary element.  The smallest lack of discipline starts to erode our self-esteem.

You don’t have to change that much for it to make a great deal of difference. A few simple disciplines can have a major impact on how your life works out in the next 90 days, let alone in the next 12 months or the next 3 years.  Are ready to develop more discipline? Are you ready to become an unstoppably empowered person, whether it is in your personal or professional life?  The time is now.

So what comes first the discipline or the habit? Great thoughts and idea.

I think the discipline does. It is what fosters the habit…habits are more similar to a lifestyle. Thanks for your comments!
