Google just rolled out a new feature to Google Search called “+1″ (It’s pronounced “Plus One”). Industry insiders are calling it the most significant social feature that has ever been added to the Google search engine.
To be clear, the version of “+1″, which is beginning to roll out today, is not the toolbar version that we first got a glimpse of in December. Apparently that was a different version that was being tested. This newly launched version of “+1″ is a small button that will reside next to each and every Google Search result. If you like the result, you click the “+1″ button and it gets shared with your social circle as well as the public. The Google button is an entirely new beast because it will position a new “+1″ button next to all Search Engine Results and Paid Advertising results in Google. In simple terms, Google’s “+1″ is nothing more than a button that behaves like the Facebook “Like” button, or the Twitter “Retweet” button on steroids.
It will potentially redefine how we do Search Engine Marketing, Social Media Marketing, and even Paid Advertising through Google in this industry. It will very well may alter the face of Internet Marketing as we know it. You see Social Media buttons on almost every website these days. They allow readers to share their favorite content with their friends or followers on Social Media sites likeFacebook or Twitter.
Industry insiders understand that these simple buttons multiply the amount of web traffic and visitors that you’re able to drive to your blogs and various websites. This button will display when your contacts in your Google social network have “liked” a certain advertisement or website. It will eventually affect which results show up in the Search Engine Results on Google when you search. It will, in effect, bridge the Social Media to Search Engine Results gap. If we assume that this new Google “button” experiment is a success then there will essentially cease to be a major difference between the two. In a word…Empowering!
Yours In Success…

Being an entrepreneur has given me a deep appreciation for individuals who are success oriented and never give up. The drive to always “push through” is a trait of successful people.
I have been fortunate to associate myself with many successful individuals over my life. It began with my father who instilled in me the ability to step outside of the box…to create something out of nothing. He taught me the importance of integrity in business...traits that I have incorporated into the various business models I employ.
I spent the first ten years of my career in the medical field. I worked side by side with amazing individuals who put their own self-interests aside in order to nurture others back to good health. Many times I witnessed life and death situations. It was always humbling to experience the team-work that evolved around trying to save a lives.
As my career path evolved into the business world, not only could I bring those experiences into my persona, I saw a need to spread information…real information for real situations. A close friend of mine began to mentor me in aspects of blogging. He has given me incredible insight into how a blog should be developed…how to focus my passion for helping mentor people to becoming successful entrepreneurs. This passion for mentoring others began when I was a young child and continues today. It is not about me, but rather those who have influenced my life.
I am a work-out addict and a real “ski dog”. Sorry guys and gals…I do not “ride”. I live for deep powder and steep chutes. I love the feeling of looking over the edge of a steep run…feel my heart beat faster with that adrenaline rush and then “jump in”. I love golf…but I always wonder if I will ever break 100…lol! Most of all, I love my wonderful family…they are the best! Thanks for stopping by and I hope you feel empowered today.
