Warning…Change is NOT Good…Or is It?

The last couple of days, I have stepped outside of my comfort zone and made a significant change…I went MAC.  No doubt some of you are chuckling and saying, “Dude, what took you so long”?  Like many of you, I like to sit inside my comfort zone.  We all have old habits that die hard, but change is good and here is why…

Without change, you cannot grow.  You will not learn.  Think of it this way, what happened when you went from first grade to second grade?  What happened when you graduated from high school and went to college?  Change happened.  What happened when you got your first job?  Change happened.  What happened when Barack Obama became president?  Change happened to America.

Change is action.  Action always produces measurable results. These results may not always be positive ones, but they are measureable and that is the key.  That is where true learning comes into play.  When I made the transition to MAC from PC, there were a lot of measureable results.  There was a learning curve.  I had to get outside of my comfort zone and really “push through”.  There were both negative and positive results, but my belief never changed.  I knew that I needed to make this transition and that the end result would be good.

These are principles that we can use in all aspects of our lives.  So, step out side of your comfort zone.  Get out side of the box.  Become unstoppable in whatever you do.  Get measureable results.  Step back and analyze them.  You will find what I found…change is really good!  It is empowering.
